The select button broke after a month of use. Due to poor design I suspect it happens a lot. Customer service was incredibly unresponsive.

There are some convenient features but the Magic cursor is incredibly frustrating and there is no back lighting on the controls. Such a poor controller for an otherwise fantastic Television.

I have a 1 week old OLED 77 TV with a MR23A Magic remote and I absolutely hate the mouse/cursor feature. So lets say you pick up the remote to simply raise the volume like Ive done on other TVs for years now..... Should be no problem right? Well here comes the Magic.... The screen goes half dark and a mouse cursor pops up trying to activate any option it finds. Finally if you can stay on the intended screen you can hit a wheel button and it will disappear and a few seconds later your regular video returns. Unless you pick up the remote very slowly it will activate the cursor. I understand there was once an option to kill the cursor in the software. But not anymore and guess what Best Buys number one LG complaint is you guessed it the Magic cursor.
So I called LG tech support and other than an extremely temporary fix of pushing 2 buttons la de da until it goes away until next time a few minutes later there is one option they suggest. And that my dear TV fans was to order at my cost a LG model AKB75095307 remote Yet all over the internet people are complaining and asking for a software update that will restore the no thanks cursor option. I mean come on guys.

Our dog chewed up our remote control but it was so easy to replace on the LG site. Only took a couple of minutes Came in the mail a few days later. Very easy to replace

This has to be the worse remote. It cause the cursor to wander all over the screen almost never get what you want on the first try or the 10. The only thing it does well is the on off button. If I could have given negative stars I would. Has me me regret my LG purchase. Still feel this way after a year or more of use.

I am not pleased that LG and Spectrum are not compatible.. We have to use Roku to be able to connect to the Spectrum APP do the LG Magic remote is not useable.
